The Ki Corp Jail Management System
provides detainee tracking from intake and booking to release. The system includes easy
person identification, automatic booking number generation, booking activity and history,
charge tracking, financial tracking, release check generation, and bond tracking. The
system manages information under one number through various edits and cross verification
of descriptions and IDs. The information entered in this module is automatically sent to
the Ki Corp CDA Management, Criminal Case Management, Bonds, and Criminal Case Analysis
modules. No need for duplicate data entry.

The Ki Corp Warrants module is
designed to assist the Warrants Division of the Sheriffs office by managing aspects
of warrant issuance. Query by name displays a browse screen which shows status, defendant
name, date of birth, offense, warrant type, case (cause) number, court, amount of bond,
and drivers license for person verification. An imaging button conveniently pulls up
a photo of the defendant. Data managed by this module includes: document type, activity,
dates, times, agency number, mileage, costs, narratives, name and type of process server,
offense information, associated arrests, Texas DPS reporting number, and CDA processing
activity.

| Interface to Livescan Fingerprinting |
|

The Ki Corp Interface to Livescan Fingerprinting
is the interface between the Jail Management/Booking Module and the statewide Livescan
Fingerprinting Network that is in use by the Texas DPS. The Jail Management/Booking
System collects all of the personal and demographic information needed by the Livescan
Network during the normal booking process. Information is automatically transferred to
the Livescan Network, which readies the Livescan unit for imaging the
detainees fingerprint. After the Livescan unit digitally captures the
detainees fingerprint, the digital fingerprint along with the appropriate personal
and demographic information is transmitted to Texas DPS. |

The Ki Corp Criminal Case Analysis
module is designed to provide a single integrated method of inquiry into all Ki Corp
Criminal system modules. It integrates information from Jail Management, Criminal Case
Management, Warrants, JP Court Management and (upon security clearance) CDA Management.
The module displays appropriate information in an easy-to-understand format. This system
has also been designed to allow users with limited computer experience to easily inquire
into any or all information (based on security clearance) related to persons and/or cases.
This module also allows specific case and person analysis for the CDAs office and
Courts.

Person Information: |
- This module allows searches for criminal information by Case
(Cause) Number, Person Name, Person Identification Number, Agency Case Number, Booking
Number, Social Security Number, Sheriffs Office Number, Police Department Number,
Department of Public Safety Number, FBI Number, Texas Department of Corrections Number, or
Drivers License Number.
- A Person Identification search displays convenient tabs for
Person Identifiers, Other IDs, Aliases, Addresses, Warrants, Bonds, Jail History, and Case
Information from one screen.
- The Identifiers tab displays information for
verifying defendant identity.
- The Other IDs tab displays information for
identifying Scars, Marks, and Tattoos.
- The Aliases tab displays all the Known Aliases for
the defendant along with the Associated Alias information.
- The Addresses tab displays known addresses for the
defendant as well as relations of the defendant.
- The Warrants tab displays the Warrants issued to
defendant. Active Felony Warrants appear in red, and Active Misdemeanor Warrants
appear in blue for quick and easy identification. A mouse-click on a warrant will
bring up the full details of the warrant.
- The Bonds tab displays a list of Bonds to the
defendant. A mouse-click on a bond will display the full details of any bond.
- The Jail History tab displays associated
Arrest Information for the current defendant. This tab displays a list of all jail
bookings and offense and case information for each booking.
- The Cases tab displays a list of all Criminal Cases
associated with the defendant. The user can mouse-click on a case to bring up in-depth
case information.

| A Courts Menu Option generates reports and queries to help
ease the task of managing active cases and to analyze cases being processed through the
courts. These reports pull together information from all corners of the Justice
Information System, extract the information needed by Courts Administration, and present
the information in a format that is easy for both judges and administrators to manipulate.

Courts, or all County Courts at Law. |
